Family Programs & Medical Assistance
Colorado Works:
The Colorado Works Program serves low income families with children by providing
income assistance and supportive services to help participants become and remain
self-sufficient.

Medicaid:
Medicaid is a medical assistance program for eligible low income residents of
Gilpin County including seniors age sixty and older, persons who are blind,
persons with disabilities, and families with dependent children.

Income Tax Assistance:
Free income tax assistance for low income Gilpin residents. Sessions are held
once a year and advertised by flyers and in local newspapers.
