SENIOR SERVICES

Home Delivered Meals:
Home delivered meals for seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals and who have no household members that can/will prepare nutritionally balanced meals.  Meals are delivered Monday through Friday mornings. CONATCT: Mary Ellen Makosky, 303-582-5444.

Senior Nutrition and Activities:
Hot, nutritious, and delicious lunches for seniors and their spouses are served twice a week at the Community Center.  The Senior Program also provides educational and recreational activities.  Call to sign up to be put on the monthly mailing list of calendar of events.  Click here to view more information about the Gilpin Senior Program.

Senior Transportation:
Transportation for seniors and their spouses living in Gilpin County including scheduled senior luncheons, weekly grocery shopping, and medical/dental visits.  Door-to-door service is provided.

Income Tax Assistance:
Free income tax assistance for low income Gilpin residents. Sessions are held once a year and advertised by flyers and in local newspapers.
