Trash Transfer Site

HOURS: Wednesdays - Saturdays: 7:00 am – 2:30 pm; Sundays: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm

Trash Fees
Please note that 2011 changes at the trash site include fees for all household trash, new rates for larger items, as well as opportunities to purchase punch cards, and a token system to replace the free trash coupons once available in the County Newsletter.  Please see the above link for details.  Also note: cash or check accepted, no credit cards.

Click here for information on the County’s Hazardous Waste Disposal Program. Need to dispose of OLD COMPUTER EQUIPMENT? Contact Action Recycling Center, 303-424-1600.  Monitor recycling: $7.00 each for 17” and smaller, and $10.00 each for 19” and up.

Recyclable Items:  Note:  Please do not throw plastic bags in recycle bins.  Can combine the following:  (1)  Newspaper and White paper (2) Glass, Aluminum and Plastics (Types 1-7); Steel/Tin cans ; (3) Cardboard – broken down and flattened.  Cardboard is only accepted the same hours as trash (See above).   Click here for DETAILED RECYCLING INFORMATION.

CLEAN LOGS
for purchase meeting our log specifications 8’ and longer and loaded on risers will be accepted on a limited basis Monday through Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Prior arrangements for purchase, delivery and unloading must be made. Please call 303-582-5004.
