Gilpin County Public Health has a water quality lab certified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. It provides water testing to detect total coliform bacteria and E. coli using the Colilert Presence/Absence method.
Water samples are accepted Monday through Thursday from 8 am until 12 pm at this office. There is a $25 charge for this test. For more information call 303-582-5803. For a schedule of webinars on caring for your well, please click here.

August Calendar

Low-cost and possibly free Immunizations will be done at the Public Health Department on August 24, 2018 from10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Gilpin County Community Center.  Preregistration will be done from August 1 to August 22.  
They will also be done on September 21, 2018 from10:00 am to 2:00 pm and preregistration will be done between August 27 and September 19.  The last one will be done on October 19, 2018 from10:00 am to 2:00 pm and preregistration will be done from September 24 to October 17.  For full information, please click here to get the flyer.

Jefferson Center for Mental Health is now offering counseling services and wellness classes to Gilpin County residents at the Gilpin County Public Health office (101 Norton Dr. Black Hawk).
